Anna Yuschuk is a Toronto based contemporary painter whose work is centered on the aspects of consciousness.

Anna creates deceptively simple paintings that lead the viewer into a sudden awareness of the sensation of seeing. In her paintings of empty interiors, she uses "light as the stuff of a deepening and proliferating discourse". (Gary Michael Dault, Narratives of Light: Recent Paintings by Anna Yuschuk)

Anna was born and studied art in Lviv, Ukraine. She graduated with a MFA from Lviv State Academy of Fine Arts. After arriving in Canada in 1990, she exhibited her work extensively in public and commercial galleries, including Justina M. Barnicke Gallery, University of Toronto, Ingram Gallery and Art Gallery of Peel. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Canada, the United States, UK, Europe and Australia.
