Contemporary Portrait and Figure Painting in oil or acrylic media.

​

In this course the emphasis will be placed on different approaches to composing a portrait in an environment. We will go beyond the face and will include the figure and objects in the composition. Students will experiment with textures, outlines and colour themes to reflect mood and character of the subject.

In this class students will work both from a provided subject photo and their own subject.

This class will include demonstrations and video recordings.
Basic drawings skills required.
