Contemporary Portrait in Painting and Drawing Media (Oil or Acrylic paint, Pastel, Pencil)

This course will focus on various approaches to creating portraits using different media. Students will explore textures, outlines, and colour themes to express the mood and character of their subjects.

Through this creative process, they will develop a deeper understanding of how visual elements can influence perception and emotion in art.

Participants will work from a provided photo as well as their own reference. They can choose to specialize in one medium or experiment with others.

The class will feature demonstrations and video recordings. Basic drawing skills are necessary.

Upon registration, you will receive a receipt and a list of materials, and a zoom link.
Refunds are not available within 7 days of the course start date. A credit or a full refund will be issued if the course is cancelled by the provider.
